VOLUNTEERS NEEDED URGENTLY TO TEACH VULNERABLE CHILDREN

Fountain Youth Group kindly request volunteers to come and teach in our education institution because we have limited resources for hiring teachers to teach at the institution which has three hundred and forty vulnerable children whose future lies in the hands of Fountain Youth Group because being a special institution the government is not offering any financial assistance to the institution so we kindly request volunteers to support the project hence children being in position to acquire free and quality education hence breaking poverty and illiteracy york. Kindly contact the group as soon as possible to to volunteer or offer adequate information on where to get volunteers or solution to this crisis. We are looking forward to hear from you. WELCOME ALL ! WELCOME TO GITHURAI! GIVE HOPE TO THE VULNERABLE CHILDREN.

To make this task visible on the Volunteer Opportunities page so more people will see it, you need to change the status to 'needs urgent help', 'just started' or 'in progress'.

I have been helping Christopher, the Local Rep of Masaka village (a Ugandan secondary school) who are also looking for volunteer teachers.

We put together a document describing the school, the kind of volunteers required, where they would live etc. We also created an application form. You may want to do the same.

Good to hear you have registered with those sites. To upload the documents to Nabuur, create a post as normal. Part way down the posting screen you will see a link called 'Attached files'. Click on this and you will see a section where you can upload new files. Use Browse to select the file from your computer, then Upload. Once that is donw, Submit the post as normal. If you have problems doing it, let me know.

As I understand it, to raise money on GiveMeaning, you need to be linked to a Canadian organisation who can accept the money on your behalf. Unless you are already working with such an organisation, I would recommend contacting GiveMeaning to check whether this is still hte case before you start seeking votes to get a project online.

There are several other online fundraising options - I can give you details of some of them if you want.
