Defining Project Tasks

Dear neighbours
Thanks for the great work you are doing, contributions, discussion and participation among others here at nabuur. we are sorry that we have been quiet for sometime because, we have been in holidays and and since we have resumed studies, we are back to active participation, discussion and contributions etc. Being a new term, we have many challenges and we need your advises, contributions and discussions towards them. such challenges are;- school fees for orphans, feeding, scholastic materials and salary for teachers and non teaching staffs. So you are welcome.
We communicated with Sussane Birungi a local representative about the development of our village and projects, she advised us to write a project proposal and immediately it was wrote. The proposal was sent to her email together with the budget and after reading through them, she advised us to break them into parts.
Attached is our proposal and where need be, we put the budget

Hi Pastor -
I know that you are hoping to define your village tasks according to the 5 different project areas outlined in your strategic plan. When I looked it over, I had a few questions.
SCHOOL
How many children attend the school?
What resources/scholastic materials are currently available?
What specifically is needed for the students?
The pictures you posted show students all dressed in yellow - is this the school uniform? If so, who made them and how many more are needed for the students enrolled?
Do you have a current feeding program at the school? How are meals handled during the school day at the present time?
How many teachers are at the school?
Does the government support pay for any of the teachers at the school?
What sports equipment is needed? Do you have any equipment available already?
CAPACITY BUILDING FOR IODC
Are you currently utilizing a rented space?
What time frame are you anticipating for adding new staff?
Do you have any operational budget at this time?
Is there access to electricity in the current office space?
Where do you presently access the Internet? If not at your office, what needs to be done to make access possible?
With regard to the van (coaster) - I think that this is something you will have to make arrangements for outside of Nabuur. The Jinkfuin village has had some success in getting a motorcycle.
CONSTRUCTION
Are any of the building projects in progress at this time? Have any buildings been completed?
How many students are you anticipating will stay in the boarding house?
SKILL BUILDING - INCOME GENERATION
Have the students started any of these activities yet?
Are you able to utilize the land that you have to begin poultry raising, gardening or pig rearing?
What type of artisan skills show the most promise for income generation?
I think for now let's start with these questions and work on defining specific tasks.
I look forward to hearing from you. Also, you may want to meet Reverend Teh Francis in the Jinkfuin village. His project is very similar to yours and he has found quite a bit of success via local grassroots efforts.
All the best-
Jennifer
