Jinja East, a place with, many colours!

Located on the Eastern part of Jinja town along lake Victoria with six landing site those are source of the nile landing site,Rippon falls landing site,Loco landing site,Masese landing site,Wanyange landing site,and Wairaka landing site,HAVE EVER SEEN THE SOURCE OF THE NILE its just in Jinja East village, Jinja East is highly populated with many immigrants from North Eastern part of Uganda and others. The natives here are Basoga but the highest population is the immigrants. These are the Iteso, kumam, Acholi, Langi , Karamajong who were displaced by the 22 year war of the Lord’s resistance army rebels which we hope has ended in Northern Uganda. With a mixture of different tribes Bugembe has different Cultures with each tribe living their own way of life. It is full of bars and drinking plces, different types of businesses and fishing being the highest source of income since Jinja East is just on the shores of Lake Victoria.
The main food here is fish with Emboli (sweet potatoes), beans and matooke (Bananas).
