UNITY IN JINKFUIN.
It has been confessed by many people in the Kom tribe that the Jinkfuin People are very united. They unite in their stance against anything. Oftentimes they have have fined anyone who is trying to hinder the unity of their community. Some they have banished form the village. This is clearly visble in their political, religious, traditional, cultural and political leanings. One political party dominates, one church denomination dominates, traditionaly they do not have the chong society, an elderly group that governs the village life especially in relation to funeral services. We hope and believe that this spirit help to motivate the people towards the development of their village.

Greetings from Samoa and New Zealand,

I am doing a bit of research to learn abit more about Jinkfuin. I compare the nature of the Juinfuin people and culture to the Samoan culture. With great respect and admiration for your culture I wish to share knowledge and awareness with your peopl. Yes culture matters and we need to put into appropriate use our cultures so that it provides for the people of the land. Most people limted the definition of culture to cultural artifacts, cultural dancing and sports, cultural arts and music, clothing and so forth. But I do see a big gap within those definitions and within our own means. To me the most significant thing that is omitted in those definitions is the fact that culture involves lands and property. Hence the issue of family and individual ownership . This means that as much as we value our beloved properties, we will have to extend our visions to allow for the usage of those properties without loosing ownership and with feelings of security to be employable in effective and efficient legal ways to generate resources urgently needed to help minimise the static poverty and sufferings of your people. When I say legal, I mean families and Individual can exercise their rights of ownership from their heritages or being natural people of the lands to start up village micro business for village trade (amongst your own selves). There has to be better legal ways to deal with legal ownerships of property for individuals and families providing security. Now a days it is unfortunate we look at buying basic agricultural, educational and health products and services from businessess. It is the only way. Having said this, reforming land tenures will be a perfect means for families, communities, individuals and the country as a whole to perhaps encourage families and individuals and communities to improve micro-entreprenurial activites and improvis village trades, agriculture projects, education an health projects within the heart of the villages such as Jinkfuin for example. I am not talking big corporations. I am talking the heart and soul of the micro villages where many people need urgent help. Your got many talents and ideas that need to be recognise and enhance.

We got to increase the pace of our work to enable getting help in to the most vulnerable and the most suffered areas. This is also my own vision for my country which suffer alot from underestimating or totally ignoring the capabilities of culture.

I hope this suggestion will prompt further research in your country. The important thing is to weigh the suffering from our own emotions. If more people are dying everyday, then our protectivness and differences have to give way to the greatest need of all. Those that are dying every day, male and female of all age groups deserve best or shall I say: they have a right to live and experience part of that living first without suffering from no or lack of food,no or lack of a roof over head,no or lack of clothing,no or lack of water. In coparison, I am afraid to mention education, health, and other needs because they are abit too much of luxurious things. Your people have to live first. By doing this nature have its own way of sorting other things out improving creativity.

I hope this suggestion will prompt further research and immediate action in your country to do maintain and enhance culture but do not forget to allow culture to nurture and provide for culture's people.I am not interested with arguments nor debates. Your nations wealth is with your culture and your people need your culture.

Blessings
