You may never have attempted video as you say, but definitely for those of us who only know a good video is that which the sound is audible and pictures clear, this is a great one.
Barb, this was a great idea! I think having more types of media available for outreach is a great way to tap social networks; people are more likely to embed a video on their blog, rather than paraphrase a text message. Perhaps we can work on producing a video for next time, complete with some video from Kabondo? Does this content exist?
Ideally I would have had footage from Kabondo, but since this all came together at the last minute, this was the best I could do. I agree that multiple media is necessary and it would be great to be able to get footage from Kabondo and prepare a video, which would be useful to have on the KPAO website as well.
Getting footage will be the difficult part though. Eric, do you know anyone that has a video recorder? Next time someone goes we will have to get them to take video footage!
To be honest, I filmed it on my computer and haven't even watched it! I don't like getting photos taken or seeing myself on camera. So I took a few takes, added the photos and posted without looking back (literally!)
