8 stances pit latrine

Hello all,
It's long since the last communication. Hope all of you are still fine.
Again many things have happened. We thought of bringing to your attention the developments so far.

The classroom construction has been completed and what is remaining is putting the plasters and painting. We had a neighbour who stayed with us for about two months and helped in a number of things -Rick.

We have also been able to put up a 8 stances pit latrine for the children and the teachers during the same period. Neigbours would be requested to help complete the parts remaining.

we are also asking neighbours who can provide reading materials for the children to help.

Hi Simon

You are making great progress :)

You can find information on some organisations who may be able to donate books to you at http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dgs9fnp6_0g5zp8p3n and the majority don't charge for shipping
I am facilitator for Buchanan, a primary school in Liberia, and they have recently received books from Biblionef, and been promised some from International Book Project. And I know other Nabuur schools have received books from some of the other organisations on that list too.

Also check out the Education group http://www.nabuur.com/en/group/education/project as people may post links in there too, and its also a good place to meet others working with schools and other education-related projects.
