Final term begins
The school will have its sixth (P.6) grade in 2011. Work for both teachers and the learners are expected to be serious and vigorous.
Our request is that neighbours help us with water harvesting. We request for tanks and gutters, so that the school buildings -in the rain season -give us the water into those tanks.
As we prepare for the New Year, we also request for uniforms; each child needs upto $4 to have the uniform for boys and $3 for girls.
There is also need to sit well;
a) Our nursery children; each child requires a chair at $3. They too, need a slate for writing on as they learn, they cost $1.
Be blessed as we help those children access their bright future through education.

Sounds like you are moving ahead very nicely! Congratulations!!! With regard to the chairs needed, school uniforms and gutters and rain barrels, it is necessary to break it down to exact needs/costs. you did for the uniforms, but how many children need them? re: rain gutters and barrels - what is the coat for? And how many chairs and slates are needed??? A breakdown is always necessary when you put up a request - it will help us better - thanks and good luck!

This is what the costs of the requests made look like. We hope the neighbours will help the cause of the education of these kids
