We are in Need of a website Domain name.

Status: Needs urgent help

Since the start of the organization Good Shepherd Initiatives, there have been many achievements/progress. All this can not really be accommodated on a single page here on Nabuur. There is therefore an urgent need to get a website where we can publish the information so that many of our friends and neighbours can see what is going on in our village-Kameke Pallisa.

We have already someone who has volunteered to design for us but the whole problem now is website domain name of the .org category. We request all those who can help us obtain one to help us get it.

We shall be very grateful for the offer of the domain.

Attached to this is a picture taken during the community meeting at the school on 20th Sept, 2009.

There need to move ahead to register the domain goshein, which shall mean good shepherd initiative. We have already confirmed the availability of this domain and it's only awaiting booking.

Maybe a blog might be better for your project if you want to publish regularly news and stories. As facilitator for the Wakitaka village, I have made with the local rep a blog on wordpress. It nearly looks like a website and it´s much easier to use. You can have a look at it at www.wakitakayouths.wordpress.com.
