Unfortunately, due to it's small size, they were not able to match them to a large hospital, but their recommendation was to partner with other small hospitals or health centers in the area, form a collaborative group of provides and then link the group with a larger facility. We have had much better success in networking via Facebook, the hospital website and blog. It took awhile to build an Internet presence, but once they did, medical students from large universities began to contact them about coming to volunteer at the hospital. They have had other medical professionals come as well. As people learn more about the health center, come to visit in person and tell other people, we have found this to be a very effective means to establish positive mutually beneficial relationships.
