Visitation Brings Excitement about Adult Literacy

Framer village members met with new members in the Kungu village on 8/3/09, taking our message of the importance of adult literacy to people who need it.

It was a very exciting day when the village members went out sensitizing others about the advantages of adult literacy. They took advantage of the Farmers'Day holiday. Their visitation was characterized with a lot of activities which attracted many of the community members to come and join our village.

We intend to continue doing these visitations as we introduce mobile teaching in order to have a wider audience and coverage of our target areas. Most of the people cannot access our literacy center because of distance. We therefore would like to take learning to their doorsteps. The idea was received with gladness by many.

Framar school closed on friday 9/04/2010. Our children are on holiday until May 11th.
Meanwhile, they will need a lot of things when they come back. The Kindergarten shall need tables and chairs because the ones they have been using are damaged. They will come back during the cold season, so they will need jerseys, shoes and socks. The cold season is usually very cold for them. So please do not hesitate to forward the mentioned items for these kids if the spirit of Glod tells you so.

This is a noble cause and anyone may extend a blessing to these children and receive the blessing from the most High God.

God Bless
