Volunteer Opportunities For Nabuur Villages/Neighbors

After a workshop arranged in Mukono which was about " Attracting More Volunteers to Our Projects" , Kawempe's LRs Mawanda Robert and Ochieng Kennedy had a meeting with Isaac Ssamba from Mukono who organised the workshop and brought an idea of starting a project that brings skills and funds together to help the undeprived communities in Uganda. About Us:
HB Volunteer Uganda is a non-profit Initiative designed to create opportunities for local organisations in Uganda,with aim to promote the spirit of volunteering to help make a difference in lives of people in Uganda.It was started by two non-profits HOPE Children's Foundation Africa & Beacon Of Hope Uganda.We are legally registered non-profit, non-governmental organizations (NGO), operating totally in Uganda.
In Uganda, many local projects lack the support and skills to grow themselves. With this agency in place, our projects will overcome some of the more serious challenges they face. These include: lack of funds for operations ( projects,Skills for development , training courses), lack of business skills (book keeping, marketing, strategy, grant writing), and lack of up to date knowledge (Counselling/mentoring skills, English language, HIV/AIDS and life skills information).
Our Aim:
We aim at supporting (fund-raising) , recruiting & placing volunteers ( for skills & community development) in order to help the grassroots and underprivileged communities of Uganda.
Our Work:
HB Volunteer Uganda recruits and places foreign volunteers with community based projects and schools around Uganda. Through our volunteer placement program, we aim to build the capacities of local projects and raise awareness around the world about the successes and challenges of life in Uganda.
Information For Volunteers/Nabuur Neighbors:
Volunteers are always needed in a wide range of worthy projects, including caring for orphans and street children. When you volunteer in Uganda, your skills will be needed in various aspects ranging from working in the field to administration. You will be required to help women and children, poverty, and abuse who need social reintegration, formal and informal education as well as professional training. You will also be needed to help develop social awareness among women/Youth in the rural areas, to include basic health-care and helping children. HB Volunteer Uganda works in cooperation with grassroots organizations in Uganda. We support these organizations through recruit volunteers to support their work and help increase their capacity. As part of our partnership with these organizations, we has made certain aspects a priority, things we feel are very important in a working relationship and to make sure both sides benefit as much as possible. The organizations HB Volunteer Uganda works with in Uganda were established and are
run by local residents.
We are a solid partner that is committed to making Uganda a better place.We are operated by people who feel the same commitment and who work enthusiastically to making this vision come true.
We provide a constant influx of motivated, enthusiastic volunteers to participate in your program. Volunteers sent through us are selected and well prepared, according to your program’s needs. For certain tasks, volunteers with specific skills can be found.

I have recently come across another village on nabuur in Uganda where they are desperately trying to arrange funds to build a school on land which is donated, and the land can be taken back by the donors if construction of the school does not happen within a certain date.
What is the precise support that you can provide for fund-raising for this village?
