Hi There!
This is to report that there is tremendous growth at our school.kilele junior school
currently we have enrolled 90 children 40 of which are from disadvantaged families.
our challenge now is space, we have just new classes made of iron sheets
Will be attaching pictures in the next posting since our connection is rather slow.
The biggest challenge now is space and also the fact that the school stands on a rented piece of property.
the landed just increased rent and this is a concern to us.
Am also happy to post that through a local church, the school was able to receive Christmas gift packages from children in the USA, we shall also post the pictures in our next posting.
We are, through nabuur, looking out for someone who can partner with u so as to take this school to the next level.
Particularly in area of sourcing for people out there who can help write proposals with the aim of kilele being able to acquire its own land so that we can put up a a modern school of our own and admit many more children from disadvantaged families.
We have done exams and kilele closes on 31st of March for the children to have a months break.
we are also happy to report that our rabbit project has really picked up.we now have 20 rabbits which we hope to sale and tart a textbook kitty since books and writing material are our biggest challenge.
