Review the Kayole-Soweto Application form, and help to define the steps and tasks

Status: Finished
Step:
1

Attached is the application form for the project of Kayole-Soweto.

Please read it over and comment on what you feel is needed in order to formulate the project. We need to define the initial steps to undertake, keeping in mind that short and concrete tasks are more feasible.

Hi Bramuel

Apologies for it taking a while, but I finally got round to looking at your website http://www.arrowkenya.org

Your Services page - http://www.arrowkenya.org/infor_arrow.php?id=Services - shows that you offer a lot of services at the hospital. I assume these are all things you are doing now, rather than things you hope to do in the future?

I am slighly confused by parts of http://www.arrowkenya.org/infor_progams.php?id=CurrentProjects

Quote:
Arrow web hospital operates in kayole-soweto community and its environs it care giving sites, including a hospitals with a total of 25,250 outpatient care campuses, Arrow web hospital also offers a full range of award-winning health coverage plans, home health and hospital services, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, including mobile clinics around the country.

Arrow web hospital also was the first in the nation to pioneer and develop the remote monitoring system for intensive care.

Again, are these all things you are doing now e.g. you mention mobile clinics which is something for the future.

Much of the rest of the site is very general. Much of it is things that you hope to do in the future, rather than things you are doing now?

Kayole-Community and How You Can Help pages are blank - I assume you are still working on that?

My opinion is to focus the site on what you are doing now - is that just the hospital, or also the childrens centre, among others?. Give good clear information on those projects, what you are doing and why, what benefits they provide to the local community, how you hope they will develop over time, what your needs are, how people can assist etc.

If you start to use your website to provide information to people outside (including potential supporters/donors) it is important that it is as accurate as possible about what you are doing.

It would be good to hear the thoughts of others too as everyone will have their own opinion!
