Hi Lia,Ron and Rev Wasike
I am just on the final part of the outline and may be ready by Saturday i do believe that i may find time to travel to Kimilil with your permission and that of Revś.I wanted to make sure i am there by Saturday and Sunday through-out the week and to try and see what the youths have to say! This though is open for discussion and i wanted to factor it in the final document before i travel and OK before i send it out to you and the project team.Let me know if there is also a possibility of have a three week volunteer week through the month of January so that i may be there to make sure that things get a good start.LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS A WAY and if it POSSIBLE to travel t Kimilil this weekend.through -out that week before i travel to Sweden!Hoping to hear from you!MO!
I have been in contact with World Vision,Save The Children UK,Doctors Without Borders,AMREF and Pathfinder International who are all willing enough to have a workshop at the EARLIEST time targeting the Teens in the area that they work in terms of HIV/AIDS and TEEN pregnancy and Life Skills to these teens in these Rural AREAS and to get the project funded.I wish to travel to Kimilil this weekend to make sure that i do have an idea of what the teens feel should be done i would say to do a needs assessment and then i will have a final draft proposal for a teen project by the week that follows!Let me have a reaction as soon as possible.
Rev Wasike i am back in Nairobi by the way we could arrange for a meeting before then.
Thank you and let me get reactions and feed back from you all
MO@
Moses, I sure hope you manage to meet with Rev. Wasike and/or Daniel in the next days. Please call Rev. Wasike for arrangements about visiting the youths and elder council in kimilili. So glad you are nearly finished with the outline for a project proposal.

I will be calling you later tonite and ok i have put up a draft of what i want to do in Kimilili.I have also been talking to a good friend of the Nairobi meet up group and a volunteer who was once on the Nabuur site but has since been busy Johara Belali who will be getting back to me.....You can avtualy send her a private mail Lia and Rev she is an expert in Water Sewarage and Sanitation and works with the UN and has been very instrumental in Water projects.I will see to it that she does help in the water project.I feel that if you Ron and and Lia just sent private messages to her she will respond faster and will let you know what to do and get a bit of funding on the water projects that Kimilili is trying to work on!
Let me see her in the course of the week also and talk to her and find out what she has to say BUT first things first i feel that:
1 i have to visit the project
2 I have to get to see if we can have a draft proposal thats VERY clear before the end of the year
and lastly Ron please go through the outline and Ok PLEASE COULD YOU ALL SEND JOHARA BELALI private messages on the site and she will respond i am so sure of it and she is the BEST resource on the water project in Kenya!
Thanks Mo!
Dear Moses,
Thank you for uploading your outline. As I mentioned in my email, I'll be getting to your outline this weekend, but do to a business trip, I will most likely only respond to your outline early next week. It could be that your trip to Kimilili will also bring new insights and areas of interests as well.
Thank you for contacting Ms. Belali about helping us with information about our clean water project. She would be a great extension to our project group. Instead of us all contacting her simultaneously, it might be better for Rev. Wasike to contact her first and formally meet with her in Nairobi and ask her whether she would welcome contact from all of us. Could you please provide Rev. Wasike with Ms. Belali's contact information when you see him?
We (Rev. Wasike, Daniel, Ron, and I) are currently working on a Kimilili Clean Water Project Plan and a Kimilili Clean Water Funding Document. If Ms. Belali wishes to assist us, it would be advisable that we work hard at getting these two documents to a stage that we can show them to her.
Thank you for your assistance.
bye, lia

Hallo People happy New Year to you all and ok ...........I am so so so sorry my schedule has been so so tight that i couldnt manage getting the time to check the net and my emails.....i have though got what Lia and what responsibility that she has given me with the Kimilili project and i am on it!I wanted to make sure that i visit the place before schools get into ¨reading mode¨ and they resume their normal studies.....its even an added advantage since getting them is much more easier. What i plan to do is give out a questionnaire that will help me determine the direction of the project to youths in the 5th to 8th grade and to also find out the same thing from out of school youth.
I will be pitching tent for a while in Kimilili and i need at least a week.I will be working out the moderlities with Rev.Before the end of the week so that when the new year begins then i know where and when to go there.I may call him today though i have got alot to prepare!I will let you know what is happening as soon as possible.
In the mean time Ron I am NOT sure if you went through the outline and what you think about it.....i was working so so first and so in the process my PC was jamming so the writing may be different.
KLia please let me know what you think about it since i didnt get any info from you.
Rev i am happy to be back and we will be talking soon!
Mo!
Moses,
I did send you an email response. Maybe it got lost in all of your travels... I'll see if I can find it again and forward it on to you.
