Volunteer teachers

The Sajos Academy is closing on Nov 19. We need volunteer teachers very urgently to be on school next term which start on jan 5 next year.
WE STILL NEED VOLUTEER TEACHERS
The Sajos Academy opens on jan 5 next year our first term , but we don't have enough teachers and the number of children is increasing daily.
The volunteer teachers are asked to report before the end of next month (Nov or DEC ) so we can have arrangements how we can host them among other issues.we have made arrangements on accomondation but food and other personal need is upon yourself but we will arrange them after arrival

Hi Daniel,
Did you try to advertise your volunteering positions on different websites on international volunteering? I remember that several Nabuur villages have done this. (I am trying to find the adresses).

Hi Daniel,
sorry a bit late, but here are some links of organisation you could contact to advertise your volunteering opportunity. It might be good to give them a bit of background on where the volunteers could live, how much the food costs etc.

Daniel, did you have a look at the websites MariyZ posted (see above)?
i look at it but there is some complicated because we are told to register and pay some fees
Hi Daniel,
I just had a look at volunteermatch (adress in my post below) and it seemed to me that they propose a basic service for free and that only the special leader service costs money. Did you try to register there?
Another idea would be to look around on facebook for groups on education, development etc where you could post that you are looking for teacher volunteers. I am sure that there are lots of people out there.
best,
Maria
In my opinion, if anyone is serious about running a school, they need to employ good teachers and pay them well. Teaching through volunteers can only be successful as a part-time or leisure activity in holidays etc. Continuity of teaching and coherence with the county's education system are important factors which can only be fulfilled through well-paid teachers.
The focus must shift to raising funds 'through self-sustenance', for paying the teachers' salaries.
