  • Hi Ken, thanks a lot for these links! The school does not own any land yet, but we might be able to use the information at a later stage, once the school is able to buy some land.

  • Thanks a lot from me too, Aldo, great job!

  • I can get started on this. If anyone has any experience with applying to GFC, please add posts below!

Daniel- I will sync up with you once I've reviewed the requirements!

    Thanks!

  • Hi Daniel,

Please have a look at the Close the Gap website.
"Close the Gap supplies high-quality computers with appropriate software and network solutions for socio-educational projects in developing countries such as schools, hospitals and other programmes focussing on improvement of educational and information facilities."

You will have to meet some requirements, and then you can fill out the form and send it to them to apply for computers. More information here: http://www.close-the-gap.org/pages/frontend/ProjectProposalStart.aspx

  • Hello.

Before a website is created, there is need to do a couple of things. First, one needs to register a domain (name) and get someone to host the website. Once that is done, then the website may be created on the host system.

Where are we on this project?

    Regards

    James I. M.

  • Thanks Anu for the good work!

Here are some of the things Anu found out that the Sajos Academy Kiserian can try to generate some income:

    Consider your operating environment

    • Stakeholders- communicate to all students, teachers, parents, governing boards, funders how the students will benefit from the proposed income generating idea; Need their support from planning stages as they can become the initiative's market, advocate or even sales network
