1000 teddy bears & 240 mosquito nets
Apart from those two girls that did a fantastic job for our children, even more people reacted to this call. All in all, hundreds of teddy bears and other toys have been given to us by all those generous people. About 1000 teddy bears and toys are on their way to Uganda now and when they have arrived there, they will be handed out to our children, just to give them some joy.
The two girls from the Netherlands even managed to raise an enormous amount of money which they wanted us to spend on mosquito nets for the children. Hope Alive Uganda is able to hand out 240 mosquito nets to the children in Kisozi next week!

I would like to send to the 2 girls’ high respect for the work they have done, of collecting nets and other items for helping the poor children. I would like to request them to look for the same support to our of Agoro Village - Kitgum district Northern Uganda. All around the corner, there many children that are going under different form of human rights abuse, and neglect, which need attention of many people, through different ways and main of support ( like what the 2 people alone have done).
I would also like, to request other that have the same ways of getting any support the other children in other part to do the same. With this I would like to send the request to other that have any ways to for the some kind of support to children in my village Agoro.
I would like to send my respect to Nabuur team members for what they have done, and many thanks to the people that have come with high ways of connection, networking and development.
I wish all, Good lack in the struggle.

This is terrific and a positive effect of what the internet can do to mobilise people. Hope you had fun!
