240 mosquito nets distributed to Hope Alive Uganda (HAU) children on Tuesday, 19th January 2010.
Today,we Hope Alive Uganda (HAU) have distributed the total number of mosquito nets to our needy children in the sub-county of Kisozi, Buzaya county in Kamuli Disrict in Uganda.These nets benefited two hundred and forty children in these areas of our operation.
Hope Alive Uganda (HAU) invited one of the representative called Mr. OPIYO TONNY and the Executive Director of SUPPORT THE ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN ORGANISATION (SOVCO) based in Gulu District, Northern Uganda who initiated and gave his sincere gratitude towards the activities carried out by Hope Alive Uganda (HAU) in Kamuli District in Uganda.
Amongst other individuals who attended, initiated and witnessed this activity included;
The Community Development Officer (CDO) for Kamuli District.
The Officer in Charge of Police for Kisozi sub-county.
The Chairman Local Council 3, Chairman Local Council 1 and our Volunteer Eric Ojok in place.
Purposely, these nets were issued out to these children just because HAU knows very well the bad impacts of malaria to the young generations of these kind and it is an active and preventive measure to malaria.
