Hope Alive Uganda doet mee aan de 24 uurs actie van de 1 % club!
Op 15 & 16 december a.s vindt de jaarlijkse 24 uurs actie van de 1 % club plaats (www.1procentclub.nl). In 24 uur worden 24 acties gevoerd om 24 projecten af te ronden. Wij gaan daar met ons project aan mee doen en proberen in die 24 uur ons landbouw project af te ronden.

In 24 uur proberen we ruim 344 Oegandese kettingen te verkopen om het project af te ronden. De Oegandese kettingen worden gemaakt door vrouwen in Jinja en met de verkoop tijdens de 24 uurs actie ondersteunen we tegelijkertijd de vrouwen die deze kettingen hebben gemaakt. De kettingen kosten 5 euro per stuk (5 euro tijdens verkoop buiten internet en 6 euro via Facebook waar dan verzendkosten bij inbegrepen zijn).

We gaan 2 acties voeren: een online actie en offline actie. De online actie vindt plaats via Facebook (zie http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kettingreactie-Chain-Reaction/225911100810...). Op de Facebook pagina zal de komende tijd de nodige info komen te staan voor de 24 uurs actie. “Liken” = kopen. Wij willen jullie vragen of jullie ons willen helpen reclame te maken voor deze actie op jullie eigen Facebook pagina’s. De offline actie vindt plaats door geheel Nederland via vrijwilligers en diverse verkooppunten.

Helaas heeft het taalinstituut die studenten enthousiast had gemaakt vrijwilliger te zijn afgezegd. Om een kans te hebben de actie succesvol af te ronden, hebben we toch echt zo’n 15 vrijwilligers of verkooppunten nodig. Wij zijn op zoek naar zo’n 15 vrijwilligers of verkooppunten. Als iedere vrijwilliger 20 kettingen verkoopt of bij elk verkooppunt zo’n 20 kettingen verkocht worden hebben we grote kans dat we de 24 uurs actie succesvol af gaan ronden! Wil jij vrijwilliger zijn en kettingen in jouw netwerk (familie, vrienden, collega’s, sportclub etc.) verkopen of ken jij mensen die ons hierbij willen helpen? Ken jij een geschikt verkooppunt, zoals een school, bibliotheek, winkel, beauty salon, sport club enz.? Laat het ons weten!

Hope Alive Uganda is participating in the 24-hour action of the 1% club!

On December 15 & 16 the annual 24-hour action of the 1% club takes place (www.1procentclub.nl). In 24 hours, 24 actions will be carried out to complete 24 actions. We will participate in that action and try to complete our agricultural project in 24 hours.

In 24 hours we will try to sell more than 344 Ugandan necklaces to complete the project. The necklaces are made by Ugandan women in Jinja and through selling necklaces, we also support women who have made these necklaces. The necklaces cost 5 euros each (five euros during the offlince action and 6 euros on internet, which includes costs for sending).

We will organize two actions: an online action and offline action. The online action will take place Facebook (see http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kettingreactie-Chain-Reaction/225911100810...). In the next days to come, information will appear on that page "Like" = buying. Please spread the word on your own Facebook pages! The offline action is carried out by volunteers from the Netherlands and at various locations

Unfortunately, the language institute through which volunteers were available to help, has cancelled. To have a chance to successfully complete the action, we really need about 15 volunteers or locations to sell the necklaces. We are looking for 15 volunteers and/or locations. If each volunteer sells 20 necklaces we have a chance to complete the action succesfully! Would you like to be a volunteer and sell necklaces chains in your network (family, friends, colleagues, sports club etc.) or do you know people who want to help us with this? Do you know a suitable location, such as a school, library, shop, beauty saloon, sports club etc? Please let us know!
