Elizabeth is a 68 years old woman in Kisozi, who has no house and sleeps on the ground of someone's floor. She has lost all her children too. We would love her to have a bed to sleep in, because it is quite hard for an old woman to sleep on the ground... That is why we would like to ask if there are any neighbours that could help buy a her a bed and a matress and maybe, some blankets and sheets too. A bed is 88 dollars and a matress 45 dollars, so all in all it would cost 133 dollars to get her off the ground. And it would require a little bit more to buy her some blankets and sheets. Are there any neighbours that could please help make this come true on short notice for this woman?

We are very grateful for all of you. I need to tell you that this task has come to an end by successfully securing a bed for this Old Elizabeth.

It's just 3 days ago that we bought a mattress and bed sheets for Elizabeth. The money were donated by grace of Kyambogo Uganda and Esther Haaisma of Netherlands. We placed an order for the bed that will be handed over to us in just a short while. We pray that this kind of support keeps on going with the rest of the other tasks.

I think a bed and mattress are wonderful ideas. I think we can save a lot of money, though, by having someone in HAU build her a simple bed frame for the mattress to go on. I have a small concern regarding the building of a bed frame. If Elizabeth is currently sleeping on the floor of a neighbours house, does the neighbour actually have room for a bed with frame? These things take up more room. Something we should check because in case there is not room I wouldn’t want Elizabeth to be out of a home to sleep in!

Elizabeth is 68 years old and she has no house. She sleeps on the ground in some other people´s house. We would like to give her a bed and mattrass too. Yes there is room. Yes people from the village can build her a bed.
