Fatima Jinnah Educational Complex Relocates to Gumbat
It's been quite awhile since we've heard from Adnan, so I'm happy to report that I was able to speak with him this afternoon. He asked me to post the following as an update for Nabuur;
Adnan is presently working on completion of his higher education as a private candidate. He has two papers to complete, one due tomorrow and the other on May 13th as well as exams.
With regard to the Fatima Jinnah Educational Complex, they had some problems with the owner of the building they were renting, so after completion of their first academic year, soon after announcing the results of the exams, they vacated the premises and are now operating out of a 7 room building in Gumbat. The building is located on Pindi Road about half the distance from the previous school. Rent is 6000 pkr, 1/3 of the cost of the rent in the old building. They have 8 of their old students with them and 35 new students for a total student body of 43. One of the challenges they face at this location is that the teachers must be transported to the school which is an added expense, but still much less overall than they were paying previously. So far, they do not have Internet or a phone at the facility, but Adnan's mobile number is the same and still works.
Adnan is excited about the move and feels they will do well there. He has purchased a big piece of land for the school in the same area of Gumbat. He feels that soon they will be able to construct their own building.
Adnan also sent several pictures that he wanted to show everyone. These are of the students at the school - I believe these are pictures recognizing students from their year-end exam results.

Hi Jennifer
Thanks for the update.
Adnan, its great to read that things are going so well. What happened to the other children who used to be at the school, were there reasons they didn't transfer to the new building with you? Good luck with your studies!
