An Update from Adnan & Pictures from the New School

Adnan emailed the following update this morning with the first pictures of Fatima Jinnah Educational Complex at it's new location in Gumbat.

"Dear Jennifer,

Things are going really well in Kohat village. A lot of course has been covered in starting 2 months. Students who got admission in 2011 at FJEC, are quite happy & they're keen to learn. They've disclosed very good performance in weekly tests, gallant attitude & comprehensive interest towards their studies.

In short there's very good change in their personalities. Our different method of teaching has challenged the dull performance of prior schools in the vicinity. One can easily observe the optimistic changes in community.

Specially, our computer classes where students take their practical classes regularly. These classes have uplifted their confidence & polished their hidden skills.

It's summer here & the shortfall of power supply did its level best to molest innocent students. Officially, government primary schools holidays have been started & private schools are planning to announce summer vacations on 10th or 15th of June.

In that summer vacations we've announced special computer, English language, cutting & sewing classes for the students of various schools & teachers.

We've noticed the keen interest of local teachers who want to attend that special classes. They're coming & asking for their classes.

We've water facility in our school which comes through boring system but it's tasteless & water pipeline is also there in school but in months & months one can't find drinking water in that pipeline.

If any solution for the problem of clean water it'll be appreciated.

Sending you some pictures of school students. Kindly send that post on Nabuur.

Best wishes.

Adnan Khan"
