Fresh news about Khadim's visit, as I sent him E MAIL about my address. He replied:

"Dear Adnan Sb,

Thanks for sending the message. Now you have bound me to come:) I will zaroor inshallah but I am waiting for shamshad sb, he is in Skardu, he is also a nice experienced guy so it would be a value addition. His arrival was done today but weather condition there is not clear and flight cancelled. 2nd today, I had a commitment with UNV to give them a foto shoot time for their global online volunteering report. It was just completed and I am back to my desk.

Please let Shamshad sb back from Skardu, Inshallah we will visit yours school so eagerly,

Dear all-

I have been communicating closely with both Adnan and Khadim over the past week with regard to the devastating flooding in Pakistan. Adnan has been able to take several pictures of the the school - it has sustained extensive damage.

All of the stationary is lost (files, notebooks, some valuable books for library, dictionaries, small and large printed envelopes, file covers & all other necessary material used for school like chalk, erasers, their electric water machine, all of the computers, toys for the children, etc. Flood waters have gone into the school at least 3 times. As you can imagine, this is a devastating loss.

I have attached a link to pictures that Adnan shared with me this week. At this time, monsoon rains are expected to continue. Adnan and Khadim are both safe, but please continue to remember the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.

I'm not sure about the condition of your area but it's all around sadness in Pakistan, right now & nobody knows what will happen in near future? You may know, in next may be one or two days as they told through news again the water will raise its surface in river Kabul which's, again, the threat for the people of our province.
