Its nice to hear from you after along time. thanks for returning to the village and we look forward to your contributions on how we should improve the the new site.
We look forward to meeting you when you come to Uganda
Nice to see you in Kyarumba. What is exactly A & E? :-)
Thanks for the hint of the onv.org. I personally found Nabuur through the postings of the UN Online Volunteering.
If you have the time, it would be great to have your input to our Actions. It would be really helpful if you could support us with (re)structuring and improving the proposal for the Girl Child Education Fund (and with the site if you want).
If you need specific guidelines on what needs to be done, let me know.
I realise to my horror that I have been waiting to be notified of new contributions to discussion in the action forums - but because of the new 'Actions' I have not been notified, because I have not ticked the notify box for these new actions!
Oh dear, or how wonderful to see so many contributions in my absence!
I will hurry to catch up, pleased that at least some, including our formidable facilitator, are away for a couple of days.
please take your time to catch up!
Thanks for your comments so far, hope to be able to write again after three or four days.
Hallo dear all,
for an interesting project we need an interesting Newsletter… how do we want to name it? Any good ideas?!
kyarumba.nabuur.com ... you can promote girl education!
--- may be boring, but accurate! And always important to place the url and project name clearly up front.. I get newsletters from nabuur villages saying 'come and join us' or 'website' or 'fundraising' ... without identifying where it is.
Are we starting a new newsletter?
I always liked Azania-Clare's: "Girls are Gifts...", or is it too lengthy for this purpose?? I'll see if I can come up with a few other ideas.
Please keep us posted on the results of the election (I'll also see what information I can find here, but unfortunately the U.S. isn't always good about covering world/global events).
I'm curious as to why you said you'd be without internet access for a week? Is this because you had to travel far from home to vote? Was your only option to go to Kampala?
I hope a new president means a bright future for Uganda.
All the best,
Hallo Marianne, hallo Dennis,
thanks for your ideas, I will try to incorporate them both somehow : )
Marianne, I do not know if it will be a new Newsletter, at the time being I am waiting to get informed from Jessica on what was done previously and then I will decide how I will go about it.
Once I have more concrete information, I think I´ll be coming back to hear more from you on this matter.
I love you honey. We're doing Website and Newsletter development here in Kamenge also. Should you ever want to discuss anything...just let me know. Looks like you have a fine Facilitator, and you deserve that.
All the best honey. Take care. My love to your whole family...and the "B"Women... too.
Remember: Girls are Gifts! ...Say Thanks! ...Educate Us!
welcome back to the village, its good you still remember the roots, and nice to hear you are doing well at Kamenge. Please feel free to share with us ideas on websiite design.
I did not have the luck to work with you, in the months when Dennis, you, Jessica, Marianne, Clare V. and the other Neighbours did so much for Kyarumba.
I have shortly visited your Village and it seems that you are doing a fine job.
I wish you the best,
Check out the new photos uploaded ,taken from Kyarumba end of last month.
More coming up very soon
I think I had some problems locating the photos.
Would it be possible to help me a bit with this?
Thanks a lot,
....to everyone to whom this applies....
have a great Easter!
