Meet the neighbours

Dear Kyarumba Neighbors,

Let me introduce myself.

My name is T.K.Rengarajan. My nickname is Ranga. I run the Geoseed Project, a non-profit with a mission to stimulate the desire for learning in children, specifically girls.

I connected with Jessica long time back. I recently got word that our Geopack reached the Mutanywana Secondary School. I look forward to discussions.

Regards,

Ranga

Welcome aboard, Ranga! Have you been keeping up with the discussion in the Payment Options issue/section? Specifically the most recent discussions about the possibility of us finding a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status?

Has Geospeed worked with international organizations in this capacity before? Would you be interested in perhaps in playing this role for the BWC, if it were decided they want to pursue the Open Meadows Foundation grant?

Nice to have you with us,
Marianne

Marianne,

We have not worked with international organizations along the lines you indicate.

We're a volunteer organization working at grassroots level in the Silicon Valley.

Regards,

Ranga

Dear All:

Christmas is fast approaching and we can feel the festive mood everywhere. Christmas parties, family reunions and school gatherings are common these days. Christmas is the season of love, sharing and caring. We, here in Nabuur, have contributed to the cause of the community and making the lives of these people better. And what a help it is! We have touched their very hearts because we care. We bring hope and lots of smile to the people we are helping.

I am extending my warmest yuletide greetings to all of you. I wish you all good health, family blessings and success in life for the coming year 2007!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yours truly,

Junjun

Dear Friends,

Please join me to congratulate Eleftheria Skarlatou for the wonderful contribution she has made to Kyarumba's Village Girl Education Project.

Its a year and some months since Eleftheria started facilitating at our village and with her guidance and leadership skills, we have been able to achieve a lot ( The Kyarumba website, The Kyarumba Girl Education Fund working document and organising the online events.

Because of her commitment to Kyarumba, she has requested to graduate from being just a facilitator to a village Neighbor so that she can contribute even more.

Join me to congratulate Eleftheria for her achievements at the village and for her continued commitment to contributing to Girl education in Kyarumba.

Nabuur is currently sourcing for us another facilitator and we will get informed very soon on the way forward.

With kind regards

Jessica
