1. Improving livelihood of women and parents in kyarumba to help them support education for their children
2. Review and input into the girl child education proposal due for submission to the donor
3. Review and input into the micro enterprise proposal due for submission to the donor

The 3rd proposal will focus on girl child education. We will soon hold discussions with the UNICEF contact officer for kasese and once a green light is given to submit the proposal we will come back and discuss drafts with you. Dear Friends,

We will be working on two proposals for improving the economic security of women in Kyarumba and other two sub counties for the local Belgian Development cooperation funding for a four year period. we are currently consulting with the community to enrich our understanding of the situation, needs and possible solutions. once the first draft is done, we will then seek for your input.

The 3rd proposal will focus on girl child education. We will soon hold discussions with the UNICEF contact officer for kasese and once a green light is given to submit the proposal we will come back and discuss drafts with you.

I just wanted to add that one of the said proposals is centered around an agricultural cooperative as a sustainable income generating activity. If anyone has any advice on forming cooperatives or personal experiences with similiar projects, please share and we will incorporate relevant information into our proposal.

Thanks for your continued visit to our site despite the recent silence.

I would like to share with you some good news from my former sponsors, the Swiss League of Catholic Women Switzerland, They have been visiting us here and following our effort to contribute to their mission( education of girl children)

They have recently asked me to submit a proposal for funding for our girl education project. However they support vulnerable poor women from age 14 and above who should be able to pay back sponsorship money to enable others also benefit..

Secondly the proposal must demonstrate that the project will be sustainable.
