Leso World is a Kenyan social enterprise company which works to improve employment opportunities for young people in Nairobi through producing and selling beautiful African-inspired craft products.

Our producers make a wide variety of textile and craft items including tablecloths, napkins, aprons, oven gloves, tea cosies, table mats, duvet covers, bags, cushion covers, wrap skirts and wood carvings.

We have set up a training centre for unemployed youth where they can learn skills including tailoring, carving, painting and music. These skills will give them a way to earn money and work their way out of poverty.

Our products are made from environmentally sustainable and recycled materials. To obtain a reliable supply, we are starting a pilot project with local farmers who will grow organic cotton for us.

Through Nabuur we are looking for volunteers who can assist us with these activities.
