My name is James Rajasekaran (1959) and I was born and raised in Madurai. I am married to S.J. Liya Inbarani (1962) and she is working as an elementary school teacher. I am blessed with a girl (17 yrs old) by name Jenefa Magdalene Chintra who is doing her Iyr Bachelor of Computer Applications and one son (10 yrs old) by name John Mathew Cyril who is doing his fifth standard. My mother Alice Chandra (74 yrs) is living with me. I am inspired by our facilitator Ms. Wenjin. Though I cannot run as fast as she, in many a times she use to plan more and more things for our community which makes me to have an inspiration on her. My full time job is running the projects for our community. I do not have any other job besides running our project. I wake up at 5-6 in the morning have breakfast by 8.30 and travel by bike to reach my office. Spend throughout the day time in the office and return to house by 8.00pm and sleep by 10 PM. I sometimes lie awake thinking about the problems faced by the children and young people in our area. But when I think about he talent that these young boys and girls have, there is a smile on my face. My motto “Working hard is throughout my life time“. Our Neighbours When we started our community we were alone with the problems. When we started with Nabuur there are many neighbours who really care for us and suggest many things from outside. We also got some support from some neighbours for the benefit of the children in our community. There are many energetic neighbours who visit the site and providing so many advises for the betterment of the community for whom we are working. With the assistance of the neighbours that we have now, we are planning to conduct the driving school for the young boys and girls in our community and also we are planning to assist the children who are in difficult circumstance to be dropped out from the school and become child laborers. Our project We are seeking support for establishing a driving school in our community which will be usefull for many young boys and girls to be trained in driving to make their future bright. When we were involved with bringing back the children to school, we found some children could not be brought to the regular school due to their age. And also these category of children are almost nearing in their adult age and when they get married they have children with the same problem and they will turn as child labour this cycle of generation to generation has to be cut down at one stage and so we decided to train these youth to have their life with dignity and decent. Internet Major communication of our organization is done with Internet. I meet several friends through internet and share things through internet. NABUUR I found NABUUR through internet. It helped me shape my communication skills in exposing the problem situation in which I live. Without NABUUR I would be alone in this world with the problems of our community. The community would face moral losses without NABUUR.
