Hello Kristin, thank you very much for your warm welcome.
I hold a Master’s degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences, major in Politics for Developing Countries and now I'm working as an HR Generalist in a big telecommunication company.
Hello everybody
I m a new neighbour of madurai village
Proffessionally I m a journalist in kerala
I am kee to know abt the child issues and rights violation
I think some one in this group can help me to seek more.
I can associate with ur works with heartfullness.
It is very good that you have to come to this site and comeforward to be with us for bringing a change in the life of the children in the city slums in Madurai. We are currently planning to start the driving school for the children who are above the age to enrole in the school.
You can also share some of your experience to work on this.
Following my teacher I just became member of this village.
Hope to help You people in any way possible.
My mother in-law was born in Madurai, educated till B.A here and then got married In Sri Lanka due to visa problems between India and Pakistan at that time and now she lives in Karachi.
Hopefully soon she will be visiting Madurai as her elder sister still lives there with her family. They have applied for visa lets see what happens.
If You can give me Your proposed school address or Your contact address, hopefully if she comes she will be able to meet You people and help in this regard.
I am born Sri Lankan, was refugee as 7 years in South India, Nagapatnam, for 1 year, (due to civil war in Sri Lanka, which is still going on) immigrated to Denmark with my parents.
Grown up in Scandinavia, due to Tsunami and due to the lost of my greatest idol, my dad, my passion to help children back home (Sri Lanka) and third world countries have grown stronger then ever.
So for me helping specifically children through neighbours and through SIVA4KIDS.org is just what I needed to provide efficient and direct help.
Even though the short life time of SIVA4KIDS.org but with great success lately our donors, organizations, companies, supporters and volunteers do have all the faith in the mission of S4K so I hope to make my contributions by being part of this great global neighbour network - Nabuur.com.
To help children to develop in a healthy situation is also one of the reason that we faced during our childhood. We thank you for your sharing and hope to work together in the future.
Hi Everyone,
How are you? Sorry I have not been so active here lately, but I have just gotten caught up and it's nice to see that everyone can get to know each other as well as work together for our cause. Kumar, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad but I think its so amazing when someone can take something so tragic and turn it into.....an inspiration-I'm not sure if that's the right word. Either way, I'm glad you shared that with us.
Best,
Kristin

There You can read what I was going through. Right from the afternoon till late in night either we have no power (the longest it was gone for 19 hours) or voltage is very low, required here is 220V but we are only getting 140 or 150V.
Thanks for bearing with me uptill now.
Got to go as lot of work has to be done. Wish me luck and pray for me and I will pray for You.

Hello san guan,
Madurai.pdf looks fine to me. Does it look garbled in acrobat reader.
I can think of two reasons i fit looks garbled.
1. person does not have Adobe acrobat reader . (It is a free download from www.adobe.com.)
2. pdf type file is not associated with Acrobat reader. This can be done in windows explorer.
Happy new year to all.
chitra
Hi Folks,

Cheers...............San Guan
