Like in any other societies in Africa.people in Masaka area have different kinds of art and crafts.
Most of the people especially women and girls do basket making and some practice portery.
Though very few have market ,which keeps them in poverty.
Lack of market for these crafts is the main reason why many people are discouraged from making them.
