Compliments of the season!

I am sending this newsletter to send compliments of the season to all of you and wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year.

2009 has been a successful year, in my mind, in terms of some of the things that have been achieved in our Village project.

I wish to specially acknowledge Christopher, our Local Rep who has been so great looking after the project and in his ability to raise funds. We could not have reached the stage we are without Chistopher's dedication and untiring efforts.

There are one or two other members who have been so active on the project and contributed so much. Mary Smith immediately comes to mind.

This newsletter is not intended as an honour roll but I just thought to mention those two.

There is still a lot of work to be done and I am calling on all our Neighbours to please show a bit more interest in the project and take up tasks, where possible.

As a primary goal, we need to finalise the Project Plan in order to establish a short and long term view of the project. This will, in turn, help us priotise our needs towards a more effective and targetted fundraising.

I may be sending another newsletter early in 2010. In the meantime, I urge you to re-subscribe to the discussions so you get updates on what's happening.
