Dear Sir,Madam,friends,
We are requesting for friends to help us write/design or create a page for which we can use to fundrise money for building dormetories,one for the girls and another one for the boys.
The information,for this project is on this website.

Christopher would like very much to have a website constructed to feature Notre Dame High School. The purpose of this website will be to showcase the work that has been done at the school,as well as the projects that are ongoing-such as the dormitories. It will also help provide valuable information to prospective funders and help solicit individual donations.
Christopher feels that this will serve as a useful tool to which he can direct people when writing funding proposals to demonstrate the good work the school is doing.
For this task we need to:
1. Discuss cost/maintenance issues-who will house and maintain the website? Are there free options out there that would work?
2. Decide what content areas the website should have.
3. Write content for the website.
4. Discuss the best options money transfer and accepting donations online.
Project: Help Improve Notre Dame High School
These are the subjects we could put on the site.
• The history of the school, for example: dates of important things, recent activities ect.
• Fundraising: raising money for Notre Dame High School.
• What subjects do they have at Notre Dame High School.
• Pictures: some nice pictures of the building, teachers etc.
• Maybe an area on the site for students only, for checking their notes and stuff like that.
• Some info about the dormitory
We can find lots of information on the website, but not everything. Christopher, could you send us the information you can require?? You can send it to michaelmackloet@hotmail.com.

Hi guys-
Have you been able to pull pictures from the village gallery? If you save them to your computer, you will need to use a crop tool for any you want to use on the website. I emailed Mary tonight a couple that I have which I cropped which would be good ones to use, so hopefully she will get those to you. The school only has use of a scanner which as Christopher mentioned is very expensive for them to use, so when they have scanned pictures in, they've done multiples at a time to minimize cost.
Let me know if you're having problems pulling pictures from the gallery.

As requested by Christopher, I have emailed the pictures from the Nabuur site to Michael. Jennifer, thanks for passing some of them on to me!
These are the original JPEG files, so will probably be bigger than the ones in the Gallery, as the site sometimes resizes images that are posted.
Michael, please can you email me the ones that Christopher sent you, and I will add them to the Gallery page.

We have been having no power and at the cafe where we work from and again there has been up to now fuel shortages and people cannot use economically generators at cafes.

Dear friends, this is the update of some of the work so far done,
1.Water Tank funded by support from The UK has been completed.
Please,look at the photograph attached.
2.The dormetory building is still going on. Now we have reached the wall plate.
We are urgently in need of iron sheets to have it roofed.
All the timber that may be needed have been secured and are on site.
We are requesting for possible help in any form,either ideas,or other or advice so that this work gets roofed.
We further,thank all that have helped in any form to have this work to this stage.

I am impressed to see how much progress you have made! I have added the pictures to the gallery.
You appear to be very good at getting things done locally, and I suspect you will end up getting the iron sheets the same way. Do you know any friendly local builders/companies who may be prepared to donate some? Or whether there are other ways you can create some local publicity to follow on from the walk?
To all our Ugandan neighbours - if you have any ideas on how Christopher could get hold of iron sheets, please let us know.
When you have time, please can you let us know if there has been any progress locally on any of the other tasks, and where you think the main priorities are at the moment.
