We would like to wish you all a very warm welcome to the Masaka Village! If you have just joined us, please take the time to introduce yourself here. Tell us a little bit about youself. Dear Beloved neighbours and friends,
We greet you from our Notre Dame School here in Uganda.
Thank all that have tried to contribute to our featured new village.Most especially the nabuur staff.
One contributor wanted to add in an item to our on coming project -assisting the children for income generating small projects while in their homes .This idia is very good to all but our urgent need at the moment is to have clean drinking water at the school and toilets,so that the children at school can have the water for drinking and for toilet usage.
The school's population must have the above basic needs if children are to live.The temporally toilet we are using were made to be used for one year and are noe almost getting full.

Hi everyone-

My name is Jennifer Wells. I have been volunteering with Nabuur now for the past 18 months or so, and also through the United Nations online volunteering website. Here at Nabuur, I am the current facilitator of the Kayole-Soweto, Kagulu, Khandbari/Sankhuwasabha and Gamauli villages. I also manage the group here at Nabuur on addressing the needs of people with disabilities.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. My full-time job is vocational rehabilitation counselor-helping people with disabilities secure the training, skills and resources they need to obtain and maintain employment.

It's a pleasure to join you and I hope that I can be of assistance here.

As you can see, there are several tasks you may be able to assist with. I am sure Christopher will have some ideas of things that you could do to assist the project. Do you have any thoughts of your own on what you would like to do?

I have sent you an invite to join the village as neighbours. This means that, when you log into the Nabuur site, you should get notifications of new tasks on the My Nabuur screen.
