Dear Ilke and Nahomy,

Thank you a lot for joining Matopeni! You are very welcome! Please look around and feel like "at home"!

If you have any questions, please ask! Stephen and I will answer you as well we can.

As you maybee already know a primary school with eight classes has been completed for a couple of week ago. We have further plans to build also a secondary school and an orphanage, but we must adjust our plans because of the ecomomical crisis. It is not so easy to raise funds today. Stephen is working now on plans of a kindergarten which also urgent for the very neediest small children. The kindergarten will cost less than a secondary school. The plans of the the secondary school and the orphanage have just been postponed, not forgotten nor vanished.

Have a nice day!
Kind regards from Ildiko

Hi Melissa,

Welcome to Matopeni! Thank you for joining our village! Right now we are working on a sponsorhip program for the neediest children and planning to build a kindergarten for small children. Because of lack of money Stephen and the community has decided to wait with building of a secondary school. A kindergarten won't cost as much and there are also urgent needs to save the small children from the streets.

Have a nice day and weekend!

Kind regards from Ildikó

Hi Ildiko,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been following Matopeni's progress since you were put forward as a featured village. I have just not had time to spend reading all the posts. I will read through the posts and see where I can be of use.

Dear Grace and Raphael,

Welcome to Matopeni! Thank you very much for joining this village! Please check our tasks, look around in the village and ask if you want to know more about any task.

Grace, I checked your website, you have many talents. Raphael, I also checked your profile, you live in Kenya and probably know the needs and problems of the orphans very well.

We are working right now with three tasks, they are also must urgent:

1) building of a kitchen for the school building (pls read the uploaded newsletter for July months, you will see all the details there)
2) building of a kindergarten

3) increasing of our sponsorship program

You will also find a lot of information on website:

www.bostonchildrencentre.org

Please, ask us, Stephen (LR) and me try to inform you as well we can.
Have a nice day and weekend!

Kind regards: Ildikó Stormbom (Facilitator)
