We have a budget outline and some preliminary figures that Stephen has kindly produced. What we need is someone to incorporate his work into our budget plan so that we have everything on one sheet.

Skills Needed:
Do you have an eye for detail? Good with spreadsheets? Excellent! Mainly cutting and pasting from work into excel and a chance for you to use your intiative to incorporate as much detail into our budget plan as possible!

Support for this task is readily available through your Facilitator (Chrissie). 8-)

Hello Fellow Nabuurs and especially those who want to put to the test their excel and word skills!

As you've gathered from the task description, we have a budget plan outline but it is far from finished as it still requires somw tweaking. On the whole, most of the important details are already there! I've attached Matopeni's official Budget Plan to this posting and is the spreadsheet template that should be used to create the budget for our project. What you need to do is incorporate details that Stephen has kindly gathered from his word documents that I will post in two seperate contributions!

Feel free to ask for any support that you might need to complete this task. I also welcome any feedback on the budget plan iteself. Do you think it needs modications to make it even better? Have we missed out anything major?

Ok, just so that everything keeps together nicely, let me explain bit more about the budget.

We are in a bit of a chicken and the egg situation. Before we can set a deadline for the beginning of the build, we need to finalise all our costs, hence the importance of this task. This is then very dependent on when and where we can funding, and also when materials will be available to the build team.

It sounds impossible, but really it isn't - one task at a time and we'll get there for sure! :hammer:

I can tell you some good news: this task is finished! Thank Stephen Okwaro, LR, and Jacqueline Castelijns who both have work very hard on a budget for Matopeni school, we have now the "ultimate" budget plan. I will change this task into a "finished" task and I will clean up our resources so they will be up to date.
