Tonny - what are the costs for such materials? I mean if you were to buy them? Mary -how reliable are the donation foundations - how long does it take in your experience?

PS - I just sent $65 for emergency supplies - what exactly does that provide you - I thought it was the paper supplies for this semester???
I know it is not for the geometric supplies. But how many writing books are in a carton? times 5 cartons? and five boxes of pencils? Again, it's helpful when you do a breakdown to tell us what the cost is for each. Thanks!

I wasn't referring to any specific foundations - I have never written to any - I was merely asking if there ARE foundations who donate in a short period of time or do they all take over a year, which is what I assumed - that there would be a long waiting list. B.I.G. just sent over 400 books - and I need to write the village and see when he applied and how long the process was-

I don't know specific timescales - many organisations will have this information on their websites, you are right that some take a long time and there is a lot of competition. Everyone has different application processes to follow.

Getting books donated is easier - I know some groups have managed to get books relatively quickly - within a couple of months.

Hi all, mawoito still is need of scholastic materials for the needy children please. The second term is opening next week and the children really need writing pads for them to be able to catch up with the teachers and what the teachers teach please.
