orkers volunteers who found the needed of youth and community for better life development through capacity building towards self-reliance and ecotourism. Cambodian Youth Development Center was recognized from local authority as local NGO working base on the needed of community development and fully registration with Ministry of Interior on 12 February 2007.

The Cambodian Youth Development Center (CYDC) is being modelled on a highly successful formula which is being used globally to bring people in rural communities together in conversation that exchange culture and knowledge. The CYDC is a place to come and hold conversations, gain exposure from field visits, receive coaching, training and mentoring. It is also a place where foreign tourists young people can come if they want to know about the things and culture that matter to Cambodians in Moung Russey. This is an opportunity to talk about what’s important without having to worry about targets or deadlines and spend sometime in the field see what villagers are doing.

CYDC has the mission of assisting youth groups, community based organizations and community associations strengthen their capacity. This will be accomplished by setting up a training center, associations dedicated to ecotourism at the community level, promotion the family and an economic unit, personal ownership and empowerment and sustaining Cambodian culture in communities.

The Goal of Cambodian Youth Development Center is working to improve and strengthen the youth and community members’ capacity forward ecotourism through:
• Strengthening and empowering the ecotourism skills of members through shared experiences, information, conversations, forums, training, mentoring and development of community cultures in rural areas. Provide the specific skills needed for youth to enhance the quality of their lives and assist each other on common issues related to the rural community management and income generation
• Chalenge the government of Cambodia to support ecotourism and maintain good cooperation with other network and NGOs.

Through the communication and networking with neighbors on Nabuur.com we have got much benefit both information and support from all resource persons. We have many neighbors came and posted for giving suggestion with delivering support direct to community.

However CYDC still need the support and cooperation from all donors and relevant sectors to complete its goal in making better situation of youth and vulnerable woman for living in standard condition. We commit to work in good cooperation with all networks and partners for project improving base on our value, and we keep maintain excellent relation with government department, who are aware of and approving of CYDC activity. CYDC will continue keep neighbors and development NGO in collaboration and information distribution.

We hopeful through our commitment development rely on youth and communities’ base need will be getting more support from donors and neighbors in completing our mission.

We looking forward for assistance and cooperation in empowering community justice development and equal rights access of vulnerable people.
