What seeds does the community need? As what happened a year ago, we send you seeds like sweet pepper, tomato and other high-value crops. Please give us information what is the best according to your experience as we will try our best to give you some.

Dear Kimsorn,
I have already purchased two packs of sweet pepper and will add some more for your community. I will inform you once I have it all sent to Moung Russey.
As you stated previously, you mentioned that pests attacked your crops. Maybe because of so many different vegetables planted previously. This time, we will concnetrate of sweet pepper. After that we palnt tomato. I hope that's okay with you.
Best regards,
Junjun

Dear Local Representative,
Your Project on NABUUR is non-commercial and for the benefit of your whole community.
But we know, that many of you have other projects going on; exploring commercial
opportunities as well.
Therefore, we are forwarding you information about the BID (Business in Development) Challenge.
Everyone is invited to write a business plan for an enterprise in a developing country and participants can
win up to € 20.000, with a total of €240.000 in prize money. The BID Challenge can also help to
expand your network.
Read the instructions below carefully and visit the BID website to make sure your project meets the requirements.
NABUUR is not directly involved in the BID Challenge and we cannot assist you with writing your plan.
Your Neighbours might. Of course, if you are selected you will be invited to Holland and then we will assist you locally!
Consider this e-mail as a service from us to you.
Good luck and warm regards,
Gerdie Schreuders
Marketing Manager
The BiD Challenge adapts to the limited access to financial and non-financial means for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries. By participating in the BiD Challenge entrepreneurs can not only win prize money, they are also exposed to an international network of investors, companies and organisations and receive personal coaching from business experts in writing a professional business plan. The BiD Challenge is supported by 30 different partners among which NCDO, ICCO and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Issues.
The BiD Challenge is much more than just a business plan competition. It is a platform for knowledge and networks, in which employees are engaged to use their knowledge in supporting entrepreneurs and in which investors get access to quality business plans. In this way the BiD Challenge does not only stimulate entrepreneurship in developing countries, it also puts companies and investors in contact with poverty reduction in a unique way. Because of the great success of the BiD Challenge International the concept will be rolled out to several developing countries in the forthcoming years to make more efficient use of local knowledge and networks.
René Malcorps, winner of the BiD Challenge 2006, proved that not only do SMEs generate employment and income, they are also an engine for innovation and expertise. Malcorps won one of the main prizes with his plan “African Skin”, a unique concept to develop products from bark in Uganda . With his business he supports local society, as well as the environment. The first products of “African Skin” have recently been launched.
The BiD Challenge 2007 is open to start-up or established entrepreneurs with a business proposal for a new, or the expansion of an existing enterprise in a developing country. The enterprise is in need of an investment between €5.000,- and €500.000,- and will be profitable within 3 years.
Registration deadline: 31th of May
For more information see www.bidnetwork.org and the flyer attached.
Dear Kimsorn,

Hello I am interested in helping. DO you need anything for the children and youth in the community? I may be able to send items to you.
Tia
I have sent seed for new crops to you but you will have to do what most farmers around the world do: save seed for next year. After two or three years the plants will do better as they become aclimated. You should not expect people to ship you new seed every year.
Some seed will do well; some will die. You will like some of the vegetables and others you may not like.
Dear Ken and Tia
Sorry for my absent from the village because we are so busy after join International Seminar in Malaysia on Youth Non-formal education. In last week we sent one volunteer from Netherlands to visit community and youth group and just back on 14 March, the second one from Japan is staying in Moung Russey, she will leave on 20 March.
Ken I have translated your document and conduct group meeting with youth and farmer here but we met with lack of water issue so I let him keep until raining time.
Tia that is good and happy in coperation with you if can send the vegetale seed for children school garden. Please contact me more for any information need, and I hope I will back with full update report progressive here to all of you.
best regards,
Kimsorn
Kimsorn,
Please email a copy of the translation to minifarms@gmail.com. I can use it in the future.
Before the rains, begin using bucket drip lines to irrigate the planting.
