Finding Volunteer / Volunteer organisations that can help in setting up and organising the centre

We need to get Regular volunteers from within and outside Moung Russey that can come in Moung Russey to help the centre start on the right path.
These volunteers can come from already established Volunteer organisations.
Individual Volunteers can be in the following categories:
-Those who have Retired from active work
-Students in their vacations or this volunteer experiance could be part of their studies in a related work
-This could also apply to those who are working but they are willing to get some time off to participate in this project.
-And any willing individual who able to participate in the centre.

Dear Kimsorn and neighbours,
I am busy collecting donations here in Sydney and am being sponsored to run a half marathon on 20 May - 2 of my friends are also being sponsored for the same cause. I hope we will raise a lot of money which I would like to use to start building the youth training centre. Kimsorn when you wrote left-tops, what did you mean? Did you mean laptop computers? I have met a man who runs an Australian NGO that build schools in Cambodia, hopefully he will be able to give me some good advice, or even help us build.
Have any other neighbours been succesful in raising funds? It would be great if we could get the centre built in 2008 I'm sure you will all agree.
Best wishes,
Jenny
Dear all friends
I'm very happy and appriciate to Dr. Larry's Aunt that she is very old (92 years old) stay in Wyoming USA. she has contributed her money 1,000 us dollars for purchase to two new left-topsfor CYDC. I sent letter to thank her and Dr. Larry that tried very much time to make fund raising in USA.
I hope all friends will continue to support us
Best regards

Hello friends,
Sorry I have not posted any message for a long time. I have not forgotten about Moung Russey and I am still working on fundraising. I have made leaflets and sponsor forms and have arranged a meeting with a local group who help communities like this one. It would be good to know the total sum we aim to raise so that we can work toward that goal. I am very glad that the KRDA has been succesfuly registered, I think that will make everything much easier.
Best wishes, Jenny
Dear Kimsorn,
It's interesting to see Moung Russey has developed and aspiring to complete the training center. As we have discussed earlier, it will take time and funding for this goal to be realized. All we need to do is a little patience and time.
Lynley, I don't think I will Facilitate Moung Russey. I am still doing a job in Sadhana and I think they will find a good person who will replace Ronald.
Let's help and do our our share in helping the village strive.
Best regars,
Junjun
congratulations on the registration! :) I agree, it is much easier to get funding when you're registered. Have you tried checking out Greengrants, Echoing Green, and Emerging Markets Foundation? Maybe, they can be of help for the funding.
gracias.

Hi Kimsorn,
My apologies, I did see those prices but didn't remember. I will email you.
It is cheaper to use Ikobo to pay for these, but I seem to be having problems with that service. Is there any other volunteers who know much about Ikobo??
Junjun, are you taking over as facilitator?
:-)
Lynley
Dear all friends
Thank you for your attention and try to work with me for long way to achieve step by step. I hope you all continue with us to run on plan as help for Junjun friend on Center blue print.
Thank Lynley, I hope you can find the handicraft price I attached two times when you asked me on 25 November 2006. I have bough some handicraft from woman in communities and wait for your address to send and how to pay back to them. I hope to hear from you soon
Best wish

Hi Kimsorn,
Congratulations on the registration of the project! It would be a good idea now that it is a registererd CBO, to register this with the UN.
Also, have you got the prices please for the handicrafts?
:-)
Lynley
Dear Kimsorn,
So happy that the registration process is over. We all know that it is very important for an organization to be duly registered because donor/funding organizations see this as very important document.
Hoping it will bring more positive development in Moung Russey.
Best regards,
Junjun
Dear Junjun and all friends of Moung Russey
The long trying to register of Cambodian Youth Development Center as legal Community Base Organization now is completed approve by ministry of interoir on 10 Februry 2007.
I hope all friends will help me fully to achieve the goal we posted and share with all source as possible. We still hope Ronald will continue contribute with me because he made a good work long way on this process.
Best regards,
Sa Kimsorn
Dear All:
It's very unfortunate that Ronald will be leaving us. He has done his share to the community and was a succesful Faciltator.
We hope that Nabuur will find a good replacement for him and we pray for his future endeavor in other field.
Best regards,
Junjun

Hi Kate,
Thanks for that. We welcome volunteers from your organisation. We encourage you to help connect us to those volunteers
I have checked the website for service leader and managment help and I have found them very resourceful.
Ron
Hi. Kindly check the following sites for the managing and recruiting of volunteers. Maybe, it can help.
www.serviceleader.org
www.managementhelp.org
I'm part of this online community, like nabuur. There's a room for volunteers. I can ask them if they want to volunteer for the training center you're building. Some of them are young teachers and looking for a place to practice their skills and crafts. I hope they'll reply to my message.
Regards,
Katea
