It very nice to hear from you after missed you many days, I’m very glade when see you came back with as a member of the board of director of SEARDF . The activity you mention about Network program in Moung Russey is very interesting with Children Garden. the purpose of Training Center is not just only provide opportunity for youth but also promote agriculture activity for young people in village and school. I think the ideas of network program are very suitable to start to discussed. Exactly I deal with education department and partner with NGOs in area for social children prevention and development.
I hope all friends will share all ideas more.

About CitiBank in Battambang you mean the bank who open and serve service to people and company here?. There are three bank in Battambang, 1) Cambodian Commercial Bank Co. LTD 2) ACLEDA Bank Plc and 3) CADIANA Bank Ltd.

CitiBank has a grant program and I am investigating possibilities for a proposal.

I have been quiet at nabuur.com but active elsewhere .... my apologies but I am back with a stronger arm as a member of the Board of Directors of the South East Asia Rural Development Fund, Inc. (www.seardf.org). It is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity in the USA, and despite its current low profile with just 2 projects in Cambodia, it is possible for SEARDF to apply for USA grants for activities in Cambodia.

I am therefore writing to see how we can identify and projects together.

Moung Russey currently has 3 discussion topics:
(i) Finding Volunteer / Volunteer organisations that can help in setting up and organising the centre
(ii) Marathon Event t(Help us organise, look for pontential sponsors and Participants) for the development of a youth training centre
(iii) Help the Community to Grow High Yielding Crops

One of SEARDF programs that I am developing is the "Children's Garden" which could be created at home, in schools, orphanage, community parks, refugee camps, remand homes for children in conflict with the law, etc.

It is therefore a networking program that will encourage children to start to grow plants, teach them how to prepare soil for their plastic bags for plant nurseries, sell their plantlets, etc.

I like to know if Moung Russey is interested to do this within your framework of activities for the youth trainig centre and the community agricultural activities..

I have no way of determining that cost. You will have to learn about that. I do not stay in tourist hotels. Expensive. I suggest that if I stay in a hotel, it be a Cambodian hotel. Or if you know some Americans living there, ask them if I can stay with them or whatever. I do not care.
