Thank you Jennifer and all friends that laways support me and Moung Russey community for most progressive in development. The health project will strengthen Health Center Magement Committee and Village Health Support Group for functioning and provide quality service for people. The project of livelihood improvement for women, youth and disabled is still waiting for funding support for their sustain living condition. I'm sorry for my not good health nearly one month in working hard to get attention from every body have the mission to help the target as CYDC doing. I need your support in proposal writing and link partnership with NGO in UK or USA to share CYDC and Moung Russey issue to all concern and want to take hand to solving problem in Cambodia. I am so happy to hear that you guys got funding for health care. It is extremely good news!!! Sorry to hear you are sick. Hope you feel better soon. How is the translations coming along for the catering (cooking) classes? Is there anything I can help with so long? I still need to forward you more training documents, but I don't want to overwhelm you guys all at once. While you are trying to get a presenter, I a willing to help with power point presentations in English that you can only read off the computer for the students and mail me questions to answer to my work or private address. I am checking in there more often than on Nabuur as I have to monitor my mail from the boss ;-)

I will also help with proposal writing whenever you guys need it. Just drop me a mail with all the relevant info I need. Your village has got a very special place in my heart an I am willing to help wherever I can.

Thank you very much for your full support to Moung Russey village and I have save your attachment document but it can not open in word documents. Another I have got information from Lotte our neighbor will come to visit Moung Russey among 22-24 July 2010 for discusing on project need and proposal writing. I will let all of you know after we have final decision on project and how CYDC will going on its work here. Dear All friends of Moung Russey

Pass many week I got seriuse sick that can work online with another problem on internet using too. Now after assistant from my friend here, we have register of women cow bank project with Betterplace.org for seeking funding support to 10 poor women household in Moung Russey. I would like you please join in this project for giving the recommend on project that we need for long time. You participation is very important in project prevent to donor wish to support the cow for women group. Another way I would like to confirm to Mr. Ken that we already got your documents and Bible sent to our mail box and now we start to tranlate those document into local language for practice with you group soon.

With happy time CYDC has success in Make partnership with Asian Health Institute (AHI) in Japan for project cooperation in two commune in Moung Russey. This project will pilot on capacity building for village health support group and strengthen functioning of Health Center Management Committee. This project will enable youth and women group access with health care service and promote advocacy in community health care to integrate with commune development plan.

Now the pilot project for promote community primary health care access is on process implement in two communes in Moung Russey with community health network development and promote health system functioning at health center level. I would like to present some thoughts about the raising of cows. I grew up with cows and have a BS in dairy husbandry. I love cows.

Native breeds produce little milk. The reason is not because they are native breeds. It is because of poor feed. Straw is the usual feed. It has no food value. Leave it on the soil to improve it. Feed the cows high quality forages and they will produce a lot of milk. A little grain helps, too.

I hope the farmers are using: Organic, no-till gardening/farming [hand tools only] in permanent beds doubles or triples yields, reduces labor by 50% or more, reduces inputs/expenses to nearly 0 [need seed for new crops and green manure/cover crops], increases fertility, stops soil erosion [no rain water runoff], eliminates most weed, disease and insect problems and greatly increases profits. Use bucket drip irrigation [made by gardener/farmer] to produce during the dry season and in areas of low rainfall.

For the last several years I have taken seed for new crops to my farming workshops. Here are some to consider. Do people like spaghetti? Get some spaghetti squash seed and grow your own rather than buying it.

Baby maize [eat cob and grain], popping maize, sweet maize, endamame soybeans [for humans; not livestock].
