Help CYDC establish a community "cow bank"

Status: Just started
Time needed:
Two weeks or more
Step:

CYDC has identified as part of their 3-year strategic plan that they would like to establish a community "cow bank" to help increase animal cultivation in Moung Russey. They are also considering the same with pigs.

For this task, we are seeking volunteers who can advise them on feeding, daily care, when and how to sell, etc. We are also looking for information on organizations who may help CYDC in achieving this goal. If you locate such an organization, please post information pertaining to their requirements here as well.

Hi Kimsorn,

Sorry I think you are confused - Jenny and Jennifer are the same person (me) - Jenny is just a shorter version of Jennifer! The event tomorrow night is looking to be quite succesful, I will let you know soon how much I am able to raise.

Hi Kimsorn and all friends,

I just wanted to write to let you know that I have not forgotten this project. There remains 375 euros to raise for this cow bank project. Following the success of my film night, I plan to initiate a new fundraising project soon to achieve this. All ideas gratefully received!

Kind Regards,

Jenny

I love cows. I grew up on a dairy farm, live at the university dairy getting my degree in dairy husbandry. Managed a dairy farm following graduation. In spite of that, the best animals for a farm are goats [milk, meat] and muscovies [eggs, meat]. Low investment funds, people get experience and then go to cows if they like. http://arapalgoatfarm.shutterfly.com; Heifer Inc gives a young female goat to a family and they raise it and pass on to another family the first female.

Grow all their feed using organic, no-till in permanent beds.
