This mother recently gave birth to twins, but only one survived. Her family did not have enough money to take her to the hospital. Mr. Sakunth from Kratie Province is providing support to this family. Their home nearly collapsed in the recent floods. Her husband is now looking for day labor to earn enough money to meet the family's daily needs.

The father and mother in this family work as porters in the city to support their family of 5. During the recent floods, the children were kept home from school to help collect snails to sell for food. They have a small piece of land for growing rice, but their rice was destroyed in the flood.
