Update from Paddy
Dear Jennifer,
Greetings from Nabitende, Uganda.
I want to appreciate your continued support on Nabuur and the progress of the villages.
I have been out of Nabuur because I could not load, write mails for lack of proper address. Whenever I try to do it, the address names are not recognized.
We are still working on food security, sustainable agriculture but I find it hard always for lack of funds, isn't there a way you can bring in a friend to support us!
I got some books from friends in the USA and would request you update my village once again and upload these photos too. I need sponsors and a good facilitator.
Paddy.

You do not need funds to use sustainable agriculture; just change the way you farm and reduce your cost and labor.
Organic, no-till gardening/farming, in permanent beds, using only a machete/corn knife/weed knife, doubles or triples yields compared to traditional ways, reduces labor 50% to 75%, reduces inputs/expenses to nearly 0 [buy only seed for new crops and green manure/cover crops], increases fertility, stops soil erosion [no rain water runoff], eliminates most weed, disease and insect problems and greatly increases profits if marketing. Use DIY drip or DIY bucket drip irrigation [made by farmer] to produce during the dry season and in areas of low rainfall.
I can mail you a dvd and glad to help anyway I can.
