On Tuesday, 15th July 2008 Omiito Local Representative was honored to meet Nabuur Local Representatives from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo; and Nabuur Facilitators i.e.

Under the Intercultural Development Agency (IDA), Omiito village has enhanced partnership with 12 (twelve) different volunteer and youth organizations from the countries Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and Southern Sudan.

A local group (Okapel Youth Integrated Development Initiative-KAYIDI) has volunteered to assist in coordinating the project.

Omiito village stakeholders have expressed interest in more active project involvement through assisting in;-coordination, community mobilization, community sensitization, support supervision, monitoring, joint planning, consultation...
