Neighbours of Omiito, will you check the story about your Village?

Last year, many things happened in Omiito. Gerdie and I (NABUUR staff) are collecting all stories of Villages and will come up with a digital storybook 2008, containing all improvement in the Villages on NABUUR.com.
The storybook will be used to show to sponsors and partners,to attract new communities and to raise awareness for your Village. Of course it will be made available for all and you can use it for any purpose you would like.
For this Village, a story is already developed. But, is the information still correct, are there any other developments, is
there another story to tell to the world?
Please spend 10 minutes to do the following:
- check the story and leave a comment saying : Yes this is ok or No, this is incorrect, the following should be changed or added (name dropping is welcome)
- write a new story about another development. Please use the same format (max. 125 words).

Both the Local Rep and the Facilitator are informed about this.
We need your input November 5 at the latest!

I wasn't a neighbour of Omiito when all this work was going on, but as I understand it they didn't link up with Naturelink Safaris in the end, but instead chose to partner with another Ugandan travel company which they found independently of Nabuur - see http://www.nabuur.com/en/village/omiito/news/2008/07/over-twenty-local-r...

Please delete this quotation "Elsa also discovered that Nature Link Safaris plans to organize tours to northeastern Uganda. Omiito is now in the process of entering a partnership with the group to bring tourists to the community".
and replace with:-
"Stella also led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Omiito and PETS www.paradiseexecu-tours.co.ug. The partnership is expected to work towards favourable service delievery to all categories of tourists including publicity of each other's activities.".
