Our issues of interest are health problems. In this pahari community lot of communicable diseases, like worms, typhoid, cholera, hepatitis, dysentery, and skin irritations prevail. All these diseases are spread due to poor personal hygiene and poor sanitary conditions. Lack of awareness regarding personal hygiene and sanitation is the basic problem.

Forum for Sustainable Community Upliftment Nepal (FOCUS Nepal) is planning to carry out an awareness campaign on hygiene and sanitation as well as latrines building program. We carry out an awareness campaign in the community, we have to do this:
To be carried out by a local leader in the community or a person known by the community with the advice, suggestions and resources of a person external to the community.

We suppose there will be a need of around 200 latrines in this village. The campaign needs to be irrespective of caste and creed. We realize this awareness campaign is enormous and needs help from and support from other organisations also. So please join us and do solidarity to achieve our goals. Please be sure all your support and resources is directly benefit to grass root population in this backward village.
