We would like to share valuable information, support, ideas, activities and guideline to develop green and clean village.

Expert and subject interested people are welcome to support vadgam for develop good environment for village.

Hello,

I am new in nabuur and new in projects. But the title of project seems interesting and maybe I can contribute. I have an administrative background, worked some years ago on rural develpment, now more on (financial) harmonisation issues and should be able to contribute with some experiences i gained, web researches, maybe also projet writing, financial issues.
Till now, I have not yet found what exactly the project is about and how I can contribute.
Is this for a specific village or more in general for 'a' village?
Hope to meet/read from other members soon and start contributing effectively to this project
best

Nitin,

This task is so broad. I suggest you be specific about what projects are needed to bring about a green village. solar power, building, farming, bucket drip irrigation, etc. That will allow people of a given skill to help.

Nitin,

Thank you for your reply. I have read info provided on "Vadgam" and agree to comment put forward that for now the task is quiet broad. However, I would suggest you need environmental benefits that can be obtained without high costs. Taking this into account I propose the village organises,if not yet done, that people sort their garbage before it is collected and that village authorities organise to recycle to the maximum the garbage collected. Their are costs relating to the awareness raising of village people, re-organisation of the garbage-collection,but these can be compensated by the profits gained from the recycling of the garbage.
I would also agree with the solar (or wind) energy. Maybe using these forms of energy can be made an obligation for bigger building projects in this village.

Thanks Sindy for valuable suggestions towards Green & Clean Village.I agreed with you that recycling is helpful to manage garbage prob in village. The main problem for me to learn the process of this activity.Actually me and people of vadgam have not much ideas and awarness abt recycling and reuse of garbage,so we need to find the broad help on this including required sources for this activity. How can we recycling the garbage ? point is which type of garbage recyclin ?,first we need to make a garbage list cetegory wise and find the reuse option...we also need to find the way to destroy the garbage which one is not re usable.which type of machinary req for recyclin the garbage ?,how can find the market for recyclin garbage ? how much investment req for recycling activity? how can we collect the garbage ?so ther are many open points before start this activity...

we hereby need to know all the detail process of garbage recycling up to reuse it.

your and ken solar energy suggestion also will be a useful option for save energy and enviornment.

I hereby like to invite all the neighbour on this platform to pl.help to make list of activities under Green and clean village project.

I need to understand how the process going on as well as which type of sources req for such activities.?

Thanks lot Sindy ...Pl.touch in with subject and share more on this...

I recycle everything but from my living abroad and travels [I go to Indonesia next month]I know that a village is a very different world. You need to give more information on the village. All food waste should be composted for the farm/garden. I doubt there is a cost-effective way to recycle metals, glass, etc or even if there is enough to recycle.

It is my opinion that every village needs a used computer and a library on DVDs for teaching and training. Show movies and charge for viewing to help pay for it???

A CD holds 650 MB of data. The Bible is 1.4 MB. Therefore, a CD holds 464 copies of the Bible. A DVD holds 3,000 copies of the Bible. Those without electricity use a computer internally converted to use 12 v. directly from a battery with a solar charger [email for instructions]. Thousands of DVDs are available and many of them are free. Even where the internet is available, sometimes the cost is prohibitive. They can study by using DVDs on a computer [home, office, cybercafé, friend] for hours with little or no cost.
