Suggestions: fundraising for teaching and sports materials

Vadgam is trying enhance the current programs they are offering to the village children. However to meet its objectives it needs some basic teaching materials(and sport gears). We are not asking for money from our current members or the guests but instead we would like to invite suggestions on how we can fundraise for money or attract philanthropists to make small donations (monetary or materials which can be second-hand). This is an open task with no time restrictions.
We would especially like to invite comments/suggestions from members resident in India or any other low-middle income countries as you would probably have a better understanding of our position and be able to provide context based feasible suggestions. However members from high-income countries are also welcome.
We understand fundraising is never an easy objective to meet and most villages registered on nabuur (if not all) need money in order to meet their basic needs. Bearing this in mind both Nitin and I are looking for simple/ effective strategies that has worked in the past.
My one of the suggestion if we receive Corporate advertisement package,than it will be helpful to manage project expenditure.vadgam social and welfare trust advertisement of such corporate industries for there product in vilage on vadgam village page as well as in village market.trust also make product advertisement in various events orgnized by trust,like childrern's camp,eduction seminar,drawing competition. we need to findout such corporte industries and write letter with project detils.
Requesting all the neighbour of the vadgam pl.find out such corporate organisation which are interested to share there advertisement package with vadgam project.

Thats sounds good Nitin.
I unfortunately know little about Indian corporate organisations. Maybe nabuur volunteers from India would know more about this.
If anyone knows any such corporate organisation do let us know. I am quite happy to help with proposal write up.

One more thing is possible, if we find a advertisement package from corporate sector for www.vadgam.com page ,we will highlight such corporate ad on home page of the vadgam site and such corporate company donate some yearly package amount to vadgam project against this ad.
The benefit for such companies are as per following.
1.Highlight ad on village home page.
2.Get tax benefit because we have a registered trust with 80 G Certificate.
3.Company have opportunity to help social development activities.
we have more than 1800 visitors count on vadgam page just in starting of the website,so it will be a good scope to corporate sector to make advertisement on vadgam page.
