Help set up proper day care for children and professional training for women
Status:
Based on a business plan created with the help of Nabuurs we aimed to support Sabina and the women of Yoshinkhel in setting up professional training for the women and day care for their little ones. In addition, Sabina thought up an innovative mentoring programme for school children.
While we also collected ideas for the day care centre, we advanced most in the area of professional skills training: the women had received knitting training, created their own products and already finished some order for the woolen products for local markets.
Since the women would like to concentrate for now on finding buyers and establishing well their knitting business, which is now also officially registered as Yoshinkhel Craft, we are currently stalling this project related to education and further skills training. Your ideas on these topics are, however, very welcome.
